Thank you! I have really enjoyed this winter. We get a little bit of an overdose of sun over the summer months.

Hmm, I grew up in an overdose of rain. Now I often miss it... I think it was my years in Phoenix that did it to me. ;)

did you get lots of floods there?

Flooding was not too frequent and rarely significant. The rains typically weren't heavy, just frequent.

well, it seems that you get quite a bit of extreme weather over there in the US....that's why I thought you get lots of floods....fortunately, England has no extreme weather....for now, anyway....

Thank you! I've always loved how the fog and clouds can hold to the land. It's like the sky is touching the earth and then lingering for a time. ;)

The view is best in the morning. There's a lot of clutter in view as well but if you crop that out mentally, it can be quite beautiful. :)

Cold boats huddling against the encroaching fog as it flows down the mountains. This is poetry disguised as a photo. Beautiful!

No, I just test software. Not too exciting but it pays the bills and photography habit.
Definitely visit Yosemite. I'm hoping to make a trip there again this year myself.
Thanks for you comment! :)

You just had to mention the balcony... :)

And I share my concrete cell with four others. Talk about hard to get anything accomplished! :blahblah:
