Artist's Comments

Hope you don't mind a re-do. I recently re-shot this scene with my new 5D MkII for both the increased resolution as well as to see what additional dynamic range/tonal resolution I might get.
I was pleasantly surprised by the tonal quality which allowed me to create my vision for this scene much more easily than I was able to on the last version.

As before, A B&W Harris shutter image of the Golden Gate Bridge viewed from Battery Spencer in the Marin Headlands.

Thank you! Not sure if I'm going overboard with the concept but I do like it. ;)

well I quite like the idea the colours represent cultures which all get together (but still on their one) to another place using the same route (or the same route in the other direction) without actually really contacting the other cultures...
so that it might look intercultural but there's actually no interaction (except from traffic behaviour)

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I like it.
I would add another "feature" here that it's actually the interactions of the individuals that create all of the non-primary colors in the image. Without that all we get are red, green and blue. ;)

Thank you! I've shot this several times (there are a lot of factors that influence the image) since my first attempt but this is the first I've liked since that first shot. Seemed fitting since it was my fist time shooting it with my new cam. ;)
